Canada x Reader- Missed you, Forgot to tell you

~Canada's POV~

My name is Matthew Williams, I'm Canada, don't worry if you forget, you won't be the first....or last..... But I'm not here to depress you! I'm here to tell you the story of how I finally found my happiness....That sounded so cheesy.... I'm sorry, let me restart, I'm here to tell you the story of how love isn't impossible, but simply hid in the most obvious places....

 "Mattie?! Where did you put my tennis racket?!" called a sweet tone, like maple syrup to my ears.

  "Next to the door, in that little closet, ____!" I replied, dressed in my Hockey gear. 

Oh, did I mention ____ is over at my flat? She has been my roommate since we where in collage. No, this isn't going to be a sob story of some high school girl who was abused or had mental issues, or cut, or was suicidal....Not that I have anything against those types of people!!! We seem like normal people....except I'm a Country.... ____ is a national Tennis player and writer, having 3 published novels. I'm a Hockey player for a state team, and I'm running a country... 

 "OK! I was worried I left it on the plane!" She seemed more relieved, but I could only laugh. 

 "You loose everything on a plane!!" I shouted back, almost tripping over my own hockey stick. 

We where rushing around, trying to prepare for our tournaments and practices. This is how it is everyday, except Friday, that's the day we both decided to spend together.

I've never considered ____ anything more than a best friend, yet every time we have a cuddle-movie night, I feel like we could be so much more. I could never ruin our relationship by dating, especially if she didn't feel the same way, plus I would live for thousands of centuries after her.... No way could I do that.... 

Then one day, my world came crumbling down. 

____ came home, happy and giddy, practically jumping on her toes. 

 "Mattie! Oh! Mattie! Come here! Quickly!!" 

Of course, I hurry down, smiling a huge smile. "Did you win a new Trophy or something?" I couldn't help but tease, in a friendly manner, of course. 

___ shook her head, "Way much better than a silly trophy!! You know how I always wanted to visit _(Enter favorite Country or City far away from your hometown)_

I nod, slightly worried. "Yeah?" 

 "I get to go move there! Next week, at four o'clock, my manager is coming to pick me up!!" She cheers, hugging me tightly, and I hug back, saddened, but I don't show it. 

 "That's amazing, ___! we should start packing! you only have a week!!" I give her a big smile.

All that week, the closer and closer we get to her leaving date, I start to realize more and more I love her.... oh no.....

She was picking up her bags, smiling wide. "Well, You can keep the rest and just send me the rest of the clothes!!" She gives me a sparkling smile and I can't help but get tears in my eyes, hugging her tightly. 

 "Promise to call and skype?" I begged, knowing she'd eventually forget me anyway, like an old friend that was simply the one who lifter her into the air for her to take flight.... 

 "I swear, Mattie, I'll even come back to visit during the off seasons!" She seems to be radiating happiness, and I don't blame her... If I got to move to such a beautiful place, I'd be happy too....

And she left.

There where hundreds of calls, billions of texts, and tons of Skype calls......

Then on the 6th month, she didn't talk for the past week...

I was terrified of the worst, but I knew she had games, even big events to go to.... Maybe she finally forgot about me....

There was a loud knock at the door and I peeled myself from the couch where I had fallen asleep, previously I had a game and came home, took a shower, and fell asleep on the couch. I opened the door, rubbing my eyes, "Yes?"
There stood a beautiful ____, in her lazy outfit, but still a goddess like figure. "_-___" I sputtered, seeming gob-smacked. 

 "h-Hey Mattie" She blushed. "I was allowed to go visit family...so I came to visit my favorite person in the world...." She blushed, rubbing her elbow with her right hand. "Sorry it was such short notice....." 

 I began to gather tears in my eyes, suddenly developing her in a large hug, not ever wanting to let her go. 

 "I should have told you a long time ago! _-___ I love you with all my heart! I-I don't want anyone to take my spot at your side! I-I don't think I could handle that!! ___, I understand if you don't feel the same, just promise me that you won't ever replace me...." I sobbed into her shoulder, but she simply began laughing.

 "Replace you? Haha! Silly Mattie! I couldn't ever replace you! I love you too, you little pancake lover!" She smiled, her cheeks dusting with a light pink, her head coming in and planting a kiss on my cheek, my face as bright as one of my older brother's roses....

"How would you like to move to _(Enter Country or City far away from your hometown)_ with me?" I could only simply nod.

So, ___ and I dated for five years, then we actually proposed to each other on the same night.... I ended up dropping the little box out of my pocket before I could propose.... She showed me the box that she had got for me with the ring inside. We just simply traded rings and had a cuddle-movie night together... We got married in (Enter your favorite Month here) on the fourth, and had two kids, (Enter your two favorite names here). Never once do I ever regret doing anything, I've loved every minute.
